Training Tomorrows Leaders Today

When looking at life and ministry, it is clear in our modern day society that the emphasis is more on what people can offer rather than who they are. However, Christian and secular history alike prove that, more often than not, it is people’s character (i.e. who they are) that lets them down rather than their gifts (i.e. what they can offer).

That is why at SWEAT we focus on developing the character of the individual rather than focusing too much on their gifts. We are passionate about and dedicated to raising and releasing a generation of young people who accurately representreflect and reproduce their Father in Heaven!

Shaping people who are full of purpose

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

- Philippians 3:12-14

We shape purposeful individuals by:

  • Building solid and accurate foundations in the student’s life
  • Bringing individuals to a mature understanding and knowledge of God, themselves, others and the church
  • Developing in people an understanding of God’s Word and how to study it for oneself
  • Bringing students to an understanding of biblical Sonship and what it means to be part of God’s Kingdom

  • Fostering an ethos of servant hood in each student’s life
  • Developing practical skills in the areas of finances, management and administration, music and the arts, and various areas of life in general
  • Developing leadership abilities in each student
  • Dealing with the church and the community at large
  • Training students to relate to and serve different areas of society (the church, the community at large, various social groupings, etc.)
