The sun has been shining, the birds have been singing, which has made our lunches even better. With a wonderful supply of bananas on the BBQ, we made our friday morning all that sweeter.
And it’s not just having the BBQ on at the house that has added to the summer feel; an evening BBQ at Jennycliff Beach, on Wednesday evening, made us want to stay in the glorious sun forever.
Throughout the week we have been part of the “10 days of prayer” run by Churched Together in Plymouth. Joined with Living Well Church we took the slot of Tuesday, running from 6am Tuesday morning till 6am on the Wednesday morning. Taking the late night and early shifts, we managed to fill the spots and places, enjoy not just the prayer but also the muscial worship.
With the fresh morning, the Men’s Prayer Breakfast came to the SWEAT house. The BBQ was lit once more for the cooking of sausages and bacon, the frying of eggs and the eating of baps. The sun must of had his sunglasses on, as he kept on shining for ‘Meet the Living Well Family.’ I fully enjoyed the day with plenty of fun and games, food and Testmonies from members of the family.
South West Equipping and Training (SWEAT) is a Christian run leadership training school based in Plymouth. With a focus on character development we offer a one year accredited course for people over 18 who want to further develop their leadership skills. Our heart is to bring people to the South West to train and for them to return to their places of work, churches and families as strong leaders with solid characters.
