Hello there, It is the second week into term. I thought that last week was a good way to start off the term, it was face your fears week . On Thursday it was Allie’s birthday! To celebrate Allie’s birthday she wanted to have a themed evening,where we dress up as silly a possible, with a theme. Allie wanted a Greek night. Yes! A weekend without the Guys!! and when I say guys I mean boys or Men. It was so relaxing. We had sparklers, small fireworks, chic flicks and a pamper night; Chocolate or Fruity Face masks with cucumbers and Manicure/Pedicures. Very Girly Indeed. This week has been more of a low key week, than usual…(I think). Since Sunday, we have been reading up on our first assignment for SATS, so that means studying and concentrating on revision for the upcoming dates for our test. Bring it On!!! Over the weekend we had a few guests staying with us. Claire Doggett and Holly’s parents On Friday some of the SWEAT guys and Claire got a chance to go to Plymouth Albion Rugby Club to sell programs and to watch the match which was fun. We also got set an assignment based on the weeks teaching from The Bait of Satan where we had been learning about not taking offense. OK, so, the first blog post I have ever done. Here goes; this week has had its relaxing and busy days AND what lovely weather we’ve had this week. Everyone has all had their own highlight with this week and whatever highlight comes up, we agree with every one of them. Explorers Kids Club; come and play! So Kids Club was an absolute blast; we had an amazing week with the kids – we hope they had an amazing week and we learnt so much along the way!! After all the preparation the jungle themed games ran brilliantly the firm favorite being ‘stuck in the monkey dung’. Each day was hosted by Eddie the Explorer (myself) and Alex the Alligator to start we acted out a short drama to illustrate the theme with jungle characters like Mandy the Monkey and Penelope the Piranha.
